About this service
Updated October 2026
Shire Blocked Drains is a local referral service for the Sutherland Shire, NSW. It does one thing: when you have a drain problem, it puts you in touch with a licensed local drain plumber who works your suburb.
How it works
You send the quote form with your suburb and a line about what the drain is doing. Your details go to a licensed plumber who services your area, and they call you back with a price. Quotes are free, there is no obligation, and you deal with the plumber directly from there.
Why it exists
Finding a good drain plumber at short notice usually means calling around while water rises. This site shortcuts that. The content here is written to help you understand what is wrong, what fixing it involves and what it should roughly cost, so you can judge the quote you get.
The fine print, plainly
Shire Blocked Drains is not a plumbing business and does not carry out plumbing work. All drainage and plumbing work in NSW must be done by a licensed plumber, and every job referred through this site goes to one. Price ranges published here are a guide based on typical Sydney rates, and the plumber's own quote is the price that counts.
